Class Bill of Rights


1. Students have every right to place there voice, unless not having to do with the topic/conversation.
2. Students have the right to bear headphones.
3. Students have a right to privacy and cannot be searched, unless with probable cause.
4. Students cannot be held responsible for any wrong-doing unless proof of the person doing it is available. Students have the right to liberty and personal items.
5. No cruel or unusual punishments shall be inflicted, unless with probable cause.
6. Students are required to listen to the teacher unless she is being irrational.

Bill of Rights

1. What are he Bill of Rights? The Bill of Rights is the first ten amendments of the Constitution. They were introduced by James Madison to the US Congress in 1791. The first ten amendments were the original, but later on more were added.

2. Which 3 of the 10 are most important to you and why? The first amendment that is most important to me is Amendment 1; Freedom of Speech, Press, Religion and Petition. This amendment has give me the right to speak as I choose and choose as I speak. The second amendment that is important to me is Amendment 4; Right of search and seizure regulated. This amendment has allowed me to keep my privacy from everyone, unless with a probable cause. The third amendment that is important to me is Amendment 5; Provisions concerning prosecution. This amendment allows me to not be deprived of life, liberty, and property.

3. How have our rights changed over the past 200 years? Our rights have changed by being gained more. Slavery is illegal, blacks can vote, and women can vote.

4. What rights would you add? What rights would you take-out? I would add a right allowing gay marriage, and a right to allow the consent of abortion. I wouldn't get rid of any amendment, but I would change the the 2nd Amendment.

Yes, I agree because I do counsel a lot of people and I do think a lot in private and I do wisely choose my friends.

What is personality? How does our personality affect our choices and behavior?

Personality is a persons major expressions/actions put into a category that best fits all of those expressions/actions. For example, if someone says you have a Type A personality you are impatient, competitive, and aggressive.

Our personality can affect basically everything in your life. For example, if you are highly competitive this can majorly affect most game-playing and sports.

What is a problem that affects our world? Why is this a problem? How can we fix it?

A problem that affects our world today is the issue of making our world more "in the future" then it is right now. This is a problem because our world is changing and we still are focused on past issues. For example, our car manufacturers are building cars that are hybrid (half gasoline/half electric). These cars are good, but we still are using up gasoline. Another example, condemned factories. These factories are useless and are taking up space that is useful. We need to start bringing our world to the 21st century and rethink the way we live. We must attempt to "green" this world because we are getting out of control with all this pointless bickering over things that could've been dealt with 5-10 years ago. The first thing we could do is tear-down useless factories and build more up-to-date/efficient buildings or parks. Another thing we could do is update our cars to use no gasoline and figure out another source to use. This is 2009, one year away to start a new decade. Lets make use of this.
